The Practice/Client Partner is responsible for targeting a small number of key accounts (2-5) and building multi-million dollar FAO relationships, followed by managing the outsourcing process for those accounts. Those relationships must be such that the client is receiving cost effective solutions while client is delivering services that are both profitable and high quality. Together with the rest of the team, the Partner will share in the accountability for driving revenue and profit targets.
The successful candidate must have a combination of at least 10 years of experience in the finance & accounting and outsourcing functions. That experience can split between domain accounting experience – preferably in a Fortune 500 manufacturing or technology company and/or in a consulting role working with those companies. Bringing strong working experience of the finance & accounting function and its processes, with particular strengths being a minimum of 1-3 areas within general accounting is required. Having exposure to business process outsourcing is also essential – either participating in the evaluation and transition or being part of a consulting engagement team. Having experience leading large cross-functional projects is required and experience in business development and shared services are preferred. The candidate will have had exposure to ERP systems and understand the impact they have on the F&A function. Experience with quality management is helpful.
A bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree with a focus on finance & accounting including an MBA or certification such as a CPA is preferred.
