Our client is the largest wholesale and on-site photofinishing company in the world. The company offers both traditional print and digital fulfillment solutions through a network of commercial and in-store photo labs as well as an extensive deployment of kiosks throughout the US and Canada. They have three businesses today which make up its $350M in total revenue and approximately 4,000 employees.
The Marketing Director is responsible for building a marketing organization that is dedicated to the Qualex business with particular focus on growth opportunities in the non-traditional channels and markets. Marketing will be accountable for product life cycle management, marketing planning, marketing communications, and public relations.
The candidate must bring experience working in an organization that is recognized for its excellence in marketing, preferably in both B2B and B2C environments. He/she will have in-depth experience with online marketing (either working for an online company or using it as a delivery/promotional channel) and leading the entire product development life cycle from concept through launch. Working in a business that has gone through a dramatic shift in its fundamentals and successfully driving growth of a product or business are required. Having experience leading a small staff is important and experience in the imaging industry is helpful but not required. The candidate will have led cross-functional teams that include long term employees who bring history and knowledge and transitioned those teams to look toward the future and ever-changing technology.
An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
