Vice President, Global Marketing

The company is one of the largest and most comprehensive drug development services companies with revenues of $1.5B operating globally. As a partner in the drug delivery process, this specific business segment is $300M, focusing on the clinical trials during Phase II and III of the process. The business is expected to grow 25% annually, faster than the market as a whole. It is in the early phases of implementing a highly targeted strategy, focusing on 7 therapeutic segments and overlaying highly viable indications with the company's operating strengths.

The Vice President of Global Marketing is a key leader in this $300M business, building and implementing both a strong marketing strategy and organization. He/she is accountable for continually assessing the therapeutic segments and indications, developing a brand strategy, driving up win rates, building and better penetrating pharmaceutical relationships, and working with corporate peers to deliver on the integrated service strategy.

The candidate will have experience leading a service marketing organization, working in the healthcare industry, and successfully applying lean resources. He/she must have solid biological scientific acumen.  Understanding both the pharmaceutical and contract research market is helpful. Having excellent marketing discipline is required.
