The Director is responsible for leading employee engagement, from pre-hire through long term retention. Today, that effort is done through four key areas of excellence: Employment Branding; Employee Communications; Talent Acquisition; and Employee Wellness as well as working with the other HR peers who share in employee engagement initiatives. The Director will be initially focused on building and driving the Amway Employment Brand and over the long run being a champion for Employee Engagement and its link to retention and performance.
The candidate must have experience in a global marketing leadership role, either in classic consumer product marketing or in employment branding, leading a direct staff of highly competent professionals. That role must include responsibility for both strategy and execution in an environment that works through a matrix. Having experience in the human resources function is helpful but not necessary. Successfully influencing at senior levels of the organization and across a global geography is a requirement.
