The Third Wave of Virtual Work

A Three Wave transformation has come to how knowledge workers do their jobs and where.  Wave One was untethered virtual freelancers beginning in the 1980s; Wave Two was virtual corporate colleagues; and now Wave Three is about virtual coworkers.  Addressing how to bring a sense of connection and an ease of collaboration, tap global remote talent, adjust work models and flows, and leverage a wide choice of work spaces are all part of this Third Wave.
