Three Phase Process

The goal of our Coffou Partner’s Three Phase Process is to insure the final candidate’s excellent performance and long term retention.

Phase 1: Selection
Coffou Partners gains a comprehensive understanding of the opportunity, the business strategy, the corporate culture, and the value proposition. We ensure there is consensus among the client and search consultant on candidate requirements and review the process for the search assignment.

The search is quickly launched, using our broad reach of resources, to validate requirements and availability in the market and to identify candidates in a rapid fashion. Within two weeks we provide feedback to the client regarding progress of the search and communicate market response and any issues.

By the end of thirty days, we formally present a slate of candidates for consideration that have been interviewed in-depth and assessed against the criteria established at the beginning of the search process. Heavy emphasis is placed on cultural fit, ability to quickly assimilate, and the likelihood of making impact rapidly. At that meeting, the client and search consultant select the candidates to interview and define the interview strategy.

Phase 2: Assessment
As part of the interview strategy discussion with our clients, we determine the methodology for assessment and feedback. Coffou Partners actively manages the entire interview process, ensuring timely scheduling, in-depth candidate communication, monitoring of progress, and full-circle feedback between client and candidates. If appropriate, we continue to identify additional candidates based on the feedback from our clients during the interview phase.

Coffou Partners continues to assess those candidates in process to validate a strong fit will exist between the client and the candidate. During the offer stage, we actively act as an intermediary to ensure the top candidate accepts and we conduct comprehensive reference checking.

Phase 3: Assimilation
We take this phase seriously and believe we share in the accountability with our client for the candidate's success in performing. Prior to starting, we work closely with the candidate and hiring executive to begin addressing the assimilation process, facilitate the transition period for the candidate, and maintain constant communication to mitigate any issues.

The search consultant continues an ongoing relationship for up to two years with the candidate and the hiring executive. Periodically, we formally review the assimilation progress with both and act as an intermediary when appropriate.
